All social media platforms pass on some of the features found in another, something that has been happening for years. For example, the biggest example right now is Instagram trying to become TikTok. There has been a similar development on Twitter recently.

Alessandro Paluzzi, known for his leaks on technology, shared a photo of the new feature coming to Twitter. This new feature, which Twitter is currently testing, will turn the application into Facebook in a way, but not in a bad way.

Twitter brings video, GIF and photo sharing feature at the same time

Twitter used to allow you to use only one of the photo, GIF and video media types in the posts you shared until now. In fact, while you could use four photos in the same post on the site, you could only use one video and GIF.

With this new feature tested by Twitter, you will be able to share different media files in the same post, and you will be able to share as many times as you want, again up to four of a media type.

About the new feature, Twitter says: “We’re seeing more and more visual chats on Twitter and using images, GIFs and videos to make those conversations more exciting. We hope this feature can be used by people to express themselves more creatively on Twitter beyond 280 characters.”

You will now be able to post on Twitter with different types of media in the same manner as on Facebook. What do you think about the new feature being tested? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
