Iran, which has been governed by the Islamic Republic form of government since 1979, has recently been on the agenda with a big social event. The arrest and beating of Mahsa Amini in the capital Tehran on September 16, on the grounds that her dress was against Islam, caused a great uprising.

WhatsApp finally made an official statement on the subject.
