The latest update from Threads, Meta’s Twitter rival, brings one of the most requested features: the edit button. The post editing option will be available in both the mobile application and web version. The new feature will be gradually offered to users starting today.
In Threads, users will now be able to edit posts after sharing them. The post can be edited as many times as desired within the first five minutes; After this period, the editing option will be turned off. The feature is free but more limited compared to Twitter. Although Threads allows editing in a shorter time, it does not show the edits (edit history) made to the post. Only an icon is shown to indicate whether the post has been edited or not.
Apart from editing posts, the feature of sharing audio posts has arrived in Threads.
