Elon Musk, through journalists since the day he took over Twitter, reveals a swamp of corruption in which Twitter’s former administrators and US political figures have sunk.

Matt Taibi, one of the journalists that Musk worked for, named this series ‘Twitter Files’, published the new episode of the series today. In this episode, it is explained that a US senator asked Twitter to delete several accounts for his own benefit.

Maine Senator Angus King took to Twitter to call multiple accounts “suspicious”

Backstage rumors last week included Donald Trump asking Chrissy Teigen to remove a vulgar tweet. The press went crazy over this emerging rumor of Trump. Taibi draws attention to another incident that was never mentioned in order to show the collapse of the media in this field.

The media, infuriated by a president’s request for a tweet to be removed, remained silent when a democrat US senator with more than 300 voters wanted the same thing for multiple accounts. Maine Senator Angus King wrote to former Twitter executives to label a swarm of accounts “suspicious” for reasons such as:

  • “Bot (average of 20 tweets per day).”
  • “Following by Eric Brakey from the opposing party.”
  • “He’s talking about immigration.”

Of course, it doesn’t show which accounts these are. On the other hand, the journalist cites a similar request from republican Mark Lenzi, so as not to focus solely on democrats: “Here are some Russian-controlled accounts (14 in total) that I think you’ll want to review and delete.”

Writing from a State Department email, a government official is requesting the deletion of 14 accounts that spoke legally and showed no evidence of being Russian-controlled or bots.

The Twitter Files reveal to the world how corruptly a federal censorship bureaucracy is manipulating the public. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
