Meta’s social networking app Threads has received its first major update. Although it is stated that there is an update in the App Store with “bug fixes and performance improvements”, it is much more.The update brought many new features to facilitate mutual following, such as showing unfollowers, an option to subscribe to unfollowed users, an improvement in stream load time, a translation option to translate posts in different languages. - Followers tab to the activity stream
- Scrolling and loading improvements in the activity feed
- Follow icon (+) on Thread replies page
- Touchable reshare tags
- Open IG follower list
- Few minor crash fixes
- A few minor bug fixes
Although the Threads update appears in the App Store, the updates are given by the server. In this context, it will take time for new features to be delivered to all users. You may need to restart the app and wait for a while to see the new features.
