WhatsApp is set to reintroduce its “view once” feature on desktop and web versions, which allows users to send photos and videos that can only be viewed once before being automatically deleted.

Some beta testers have observed the option to send photos and videos with a one-time viewing feature in recent weeks, indicating that the feature may return to these platforms soon.
Currently available information does not clarify whether users will be able to view photos and videos once in the desktop and web versions of the app as well. However, there are speculations that this functionality may also be brought back to provide users with a seamless experience across devices.
As is customary with WhatsApp updates, beta testers have the opportunity to discover these new or returning features before general users. The exact timeline for a wider rollout of these features in the standard WhatsApp app remains unclear.
