Accordingly, with the new update, WhatsApp will now allow its users to share photos and videos in original quality. However, according to what is stated, it will be limited to 2GB. The feature will begin to be distributed to iOS devices in the coming days. In the Android world, it is in the testing phase. According to information received, it will also be available on Android devices soon.
WhatsApp, steps to share original quality photos and videos;
- Open an existing chat or start a new chat in WhatsApp.
- Tap the + icon to the left of the text input field.
- Tap Document, then choose Photo or Video.
- Select the media you want to send and then confirm by tapping the blue arrow.
On the other hand, the platform had previously paved the way for sending in “HD quality”. Although content very close to the original quality is sent with this method of sending, compressed content is sent. It seems that this problem will also disappear, especially with the latest arrival.
