Telegram, one of the popular messaging applications, celebrates its 10th anniversary with a big update. Telegram Stories, one of the most anticipated features, has started to be offered for free.

Telegram initially only opened the Stories feature to Premium subscribers. The company started to give the new feature to its free users for its 10th anniversary.
Telegram Stories work like any other app; Added photos and videos can be viewed for a limited time and can be replied with emoji. Thanks to the dual camera mode, it is possible to record simultaneously with both the front and rear cameras. Stickers, locations, titles can be added to the stories. Users can determine who can view their stories and whether to take screenshots. Stories appear on the user’s profile page or in the row at the top of the Telegram UI.
More features for premium subscribers
Telegram Stories is available to both free and paid users as of today. However, Premium subscribers can enjoy much more features. Features such as more views in stories, privacy mode, permanent viewing history, setting custom time, downloading the story, sharing more stories, subtitle options are only available to paid users.
