Sophos has introduced the new Sophos Switch Series, which includes a range of network access layer switches to access, power and control devices within the scope of a Local Area Connection (LAN). Thus, Sophos has enriched its secure access portfolio, which includes Sophos Firewall and Sophos Wireless, with a new component.

Sophos CTO Joe Levy highlighted that the Sophos Switch can seamlessly integrate with the Sophos adaptive cybersecurity ecosystem, as well as expand LAN connections in offices with its management, monitoring and troubleshooting features.

New devices can be managed remotely with the cloud-based Sophos Central platform. This allows partners to control their installations, respond to alerts and monitor upcoming license renewal dates across all their customers through a single intuitive interface.

Patrizio Perret, Avanet Chief Technology Officer, commented on the new series: “Sophos Switch perfectly complements the existing Sophos portfolio. Sophos Switch products offer the ideal connectivity solution for SMBs, home offices and remote offices, retail outlets, branches and more. Switches with 8, 24 and 48 ports are available through Sophos’ global channel partners and managed service providers (MSPs).
