The Galaxy S23 series has been a source of success for Samsung. Because the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been the sixth best-selling smartphone in the world for several quarters. On the other hand, it is reported that the total sales of the Galaxy S23 series exceeded the 25 million mark. Now, Samsung predicts that the Galaxy S24 series will sell even more.
According to a new report from The Elec, Samsung aims to sell more than 35.2 million Galaxy S24 series smartphones by the end of next year. While the company expects the sales of the Galaxy S24 to reach 13.5 million units, it predicts that the sales of the Galaxy S24 + can reach 5.8 million units. Also, according to the report, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to sell more than the other two models in the series with 15.9 million units.
The 200MP primary camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reportedly be supplied by Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. However, the lenses of the 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto camera can be supplied by Sunny Optical and Namuga, while the body and lens of the 50MP telephoto camera can be supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical.
While the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be equipped with the Exynos 2400 processor in most countries, the devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in the remaining countries. Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor with a slightly higher clock speed only for the CPU and GPU.
It is known that all these phones will have brighter screens, improved performance, better camera quality and newer software with various artificial intelligence features. Galaxy S24 Ultra will also come with a titanium frame for higher durability.
It is said that the Galaxy S24 will have a 4,000mAh battery and the Galaxy S24+ will have a 4,900mAh battery. Galaxy S24 Ultra will work with a 5,000mAh battery. All three phones will have stereo speakers, IP68 rating, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Type-C port, ultrasonic fingerprint reader, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
