For a long time, the famous social media platform Snapchat only worked on Android and iOS platforms. However, the company has prepared a browser application to facilitate the use of the platform in recent months. After the existence of Snapchat used through the browser, the company has now released a Snapchat application for the Microsoft Store.

Available as Progressive Web App

Staying away from Microsoft platforms, including Windows Phone, Snap has decided to support Windows natively after Snapchat, which is available through the browser. Supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11 platforms, the new Snapchat comes as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and only needs 1.4MB of storage. The fact that the app is PWA means it can only be used online, but the app will therefore not require updates.

The new application, which uses the browser version of Snapchat as its infrastructure, supports the features of the standard application such as sending and viewing photos. In addition, video and voice calls are also supported through the application.
