Considering the dozens of graphics cards, processors, RAMs with different frequencies and sizes available on the market; GTA 6, which has been expected for more than 10 years from a giant brand like GTA and is thought to be the best game of all time after the tremendous success of GTA 5, does not have the luxury of making mistakes in order to meet these expectations.
It would be unacceptable for millions of PC players for such a huge game to contain ridiculous in-game bugs and be released with optimization problems. It would be much healthier for both Rockstar Games and PC players to release the game to the PC market after months of testing on PCs created as a result of different combinations of computer components available on the market. We all remember the Cyberpunk 2077 case.
So, at best, when can we play GTA 6 on our PCs?
Considering the GTA games released in the past, Rockstar Games; It releases the game for the PC platform approximately 1 year after releasing its games to consoles.
This tradition may be broken with GTA 6 because for the first time in the history of the game we see such realistic and perfect game graphics; This being the case, the game will need to be tested in every detail on computers powerful enough to run these graphics.
After all the tests are completed, we can say that GTA 6 will be released for the PC platform in 2026 at best, and 2027 at worst.
As it is known in today’s game world, production companies frequently postpone their release dates; As gamers, we are not used to seeing something like this from Rockstar Games, but when the game we are talking about is GTA 6, it is necessary to consider the possibility of postponing the actual release date of the game, 2025, in order to meet expectations.
