The foldable smartphone market has fresh blood today. Chinese technology giant OPPO introduced the OPPO Find N model, which it has been working on for about 4 years. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the device is 5.49 inches in phone mode; In tablet mode, it comes with a 7.1-inch internal screen.
OPPO Find N, which was brought to life as a result of a comprehensive R&D process consisting of 6 generations, differs from its competitors in that there is no folding mark on the hinge part. The vertebral hinge of the phone, which has 125 patents, brings together 136 components with a precision of 0.01 mm. Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, which joined forces with OPPO this year, spoke assertively about Find N.

Pete Lau, co-founder and CEO of OnePlus, made ambitious statements about OPPO Find N on the Weibo platform, known as China’s Twitter. Referring to the formidable challenges they faced while developing the foldable smartphone, Pete Lau said, “We had many internal disagreements during the creation of Find N. We even had employees who tried to resign,” he said.
Adding that the OPPO Find N is the product he feels most excited and happy with in the industry so far, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said, “[Find N] is the best that can be found on the market among foldable flagship smartphones at the moment.” Lau also received a lot of support from his followers.
Thanks to its specially designed hinge, OPPO Find N does not wrinkle when folded like its competitors. According to the information transferred, the company has patented 125 different technologies just to eliminate the crease in the hinge. In a previous statement on the subject, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that they were very surprised when OPPO showed the Find N to those who use other foldable smartphones.
