Marvel’s Secret Invasion Breaks Records on Rotten Tomatoes (But Upside Down)

The new series, Secret Invasion, which Marvel fans have been waiting for with great excitement, started to be broadcast on Disney + last June. The production, which started a new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was about the infiltration of shape-shifting Skrulls to Earth.

Secret Invasion, July 26; in other words, it made the final with its 6th episode published last Wednesday. However, while the production failed to deliver what was expected, it did not receive many positive comments from both fans and critics. So much so that the Rotten Tomatoes scores of the series almost crawled on the ground. The final episode broke a record in this regard.

Secret Invasion finale is Marvel’s lowest rated on Rotten Tomatoes

When we look at the general ratings, we see that the series is below with 56% from the critics and 59% from the viewers. The scores of the episodes on Rotten Tomatoes are much worse. While the first and second sections scored around 50%, the third and fourth sections remained at a very low level of 38%. With the fifth episode, it went up to 50% again.

However, the sixth episode, the season finale, was the last straw that eroded the patience of the audience. The episode stayed on 10% points, an embarrassing record for Marvel. The score made the episode “Home” the lowest rated Marvel project on Rotten Tomatoes. This is also less than unpopular Marvel movies like Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, Eternals.

Speaking of spoilers, Secret Invasion angered fans by killing a very popular character. On the other hand, the fact that one of the much-loved characters has been a shape-shifting alien for a long time was not received very positively.
