In recent years, Google brought the Discover feature to Google Search to the mobile application. This feature is shaped according to users’ web and application activities. The Discovery section can be viewed under the search box in the mobile application.
For the desktop version, Google started testing the “Discover” feature within a certain group. It was stated that it is continuing its tests so that it will appear in the desktop version, just like the mobile version.
The Google desktop homepage hasn’t changed much in a few years, but with Discover, not every user may like it, as this simple design may give way to a more complex look. Moreover, it is among the information that Google will not offer users any options for this at the moment.
Google’s rival search engine Bing already has a “Discover” feature, but Bing offers users the opportunity to customize it according to their own needs.
