Working on artificial intelligence technology for many years, Google opened its GPT rival language model to everyone. The company is now adding its own models to the Chrome browser, just as Microsoft has integrated ChatGPT into the Bing browser.
As part of this goal, Google has introduced new features for the Chrome browser and search engine. Features include displaying trending searches and artificial intelligence responding to your search.
Now, the answer of artificial intelligence will appear at the top of the search results in the desktop version of Chrome!
Following Microsoft’s path, Google will now show the information presented by artificial intelligence before the search results. The information that will be found on a green background will not be just text. In this section, there will be an image or video related to the search and the relevant section within this video, if any.
This feature has become available to volunteers participating in the “Search Generative Experiment (SGE)” program through Google Labs.
Chrome’s mobile application has 4 new features!
Google added 4 new features to the browser with the new update that Chrome started to release for iOS and Android versions.
With the first feature we will talk about, you will now be shown local trending searches before you start typing anything in the search bar. In other words, as soon as you search, you will be able to instantly see which searches are made on Google.
Another new feature will show itself when you start typing in the search bar. Google will no longer offer 6 alternative searches in the search bar, but 10 different searches.
The third new feature will appear when you visit a page and click on the search bar. Google will show you the searches that may be relevant to the page you are on when you click on the address bar.
The last new feature will appear on a page you visit. Now, when you select a word or phrase in the text on the page, Google will display the keywords and brief information you can search for that phrase in a pop-up window at the bottom.
