Elon Musk, who lost the support of important advertisers for allowing manipulation after purchasing the X platform, suffered another blow this week. Giants such as Comcast, IBM and NBC withdrew their advertisements on the grounds that their own advertisements were placed next to posts containing anti-Semitic discourse.
Even though Elon Musk banned the use of certain terms towards Jews, it did not help. The famous businessman filed a lawsuit, claiming that the Media Matters account had a role in bringing together anti-Semitic discourses and advertisements.
On the other hand, he did not hesitate to point out that many of the big advertisers are cruel to freedom of expression. According to calculations, 37 of the 100 largest advertisers on the Twitter platform did not spend advertising in the first quarter of the year. 24 of them cut their expenses by 80 percent.
