The ‘Private Administration Business Center’, which has been standing for 25 years with its interesting shape and color choices, will be erased from the silhouette of the city on Eid al-Adha.
The demolition of the building, which is one of the first results when searching for the ‘most ridiculous building in the world’ on Google, will begin in July. The works of the ‘City Square’ project planned by the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality will begin in the opened area.

The Private Administration Business Center, built in 1996, has become one of the symbols of Kahramanmaraş over the years. The building located in a central part of the city; With its red, yellow and blue exterior and interesting shape, it attracted the attention of not only the people of the city but also the internet world. The building, which you can see on the first page of a Google search for ‘the most ridiculous building in the world’, appears to belong to a toy company, has been decided to be demolished recently.
It was decided to build a large square on the land that the demolished building will leave empty. Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hayrettin Güngör stated that the Private Administration Business Center is not functional and does not fit the city silhouette. Stating that the workplaces in the building are given time until the Eid al-Adha and support will be provided for moving costs, Güngör continued his statements with the following words:
“It was also said: ‘What is the need for all this expense?’ “We get money for the buildings we demolish. We get 300 thousand liras for the old courthouse. In the same way, we will obtain a considerable resource from the special administration building. As the municipality and the ministry, we do not incur any expense. Moreover, we receive money.”
