AMD 4700S desktop kit, which was produced for the new generation game consoles last year but was wasted because the graphics side was faulty, attracted attention and the company expanded its scope. AMD 4800S desktop kit comes with better graphics support.
What will the AMD 4800S offer?
AMD 4700S, as it will be remembered, used an APU with 8 cores and 16 threads. The integrated graphics unit was turned off, and the PCIe 2.0 and SATA 6GBps ports were located on the circuit board. It came with an integrated 16GB of GDDR6 memory, as there was no memory slot. As such, it was a very limited card and could accommodate up to a GTX 1060 graphics card.

AMD 4800S desktop kit has raised the bar. With the PCIe 4.0 connection, the possibility of connecting a modern graphics card arises. It is stated that the card will be sold as a package with the PowerColor Radeon RX 6600 graphics card.
Another improvement is the M.2 slot and WiFi card. As such, the kit transitions from the mini-ITX form to the micro ATX form. It is also stated that it will be compatible with an AM4 cooler. MSI will manufacture the desktop kit and launch it in the summer.
