Huawei has successfully tested a satellite internet system similar to SpaceX’s Starlink service. Sharing the results with the public, Wang Jun, chief scientist of Huawei 6G Wireless Technology Laboratory, said that they achieved download speeds of up to 660 Mbps in the tests.The Chinese company did not disclose details of its satellite internet network. However, it is known that the satellites are in low earth orbit, similar to the Starlink system. Although it has not been officially announced, the satellites that China recently launched may have been used for Huawei’s project.
