According to a recent report, the innovations in the design will continue.The communities you are in will appear at the top of your WhatsApp chat list.
A new feature that WhatsApp is testing in the Android version has been revealed by WABetaInfo. As you can see in the screenshot below, WhatsApp plans to introduce a new toolbar in the future that will be at the top of your chat list and will include all the communities you have joined.
With this feature, all groups belonging to a community will be filtered in the chat list when the main community tab is selected, allowing users to better see the list of their groups. Also, when you receive messages from a specific group connected to a community, a blue badge will appear over the community icon, making it easier to have quicker control over messages received from communities. Finally, it is useful to remind once again that this feature, which is currently in the testing phase, is valid for communities.
