Popular messaging app WhatsApp continues to get new features for groups. The latest changes that have emerged will handle messages sent in groups. The application will now show the profile photo of the person who sent the message so you can more easily understand who is texting.
Profile photo will appear in WhatsApp group chats
According to the latest leaks from WABetaInfo, some innovations are on the way for WhatsApp groups. The new feature detected in WhatsApp beta 22.18.0.72 for iOS seems to reduce the confusion in groups. Next to the messages in the groups, there will be a profile photo of the person who sent the message.
Such a feature is already available in messaging services such as iMessage or Telegram. Apps show profile photos of group participants, avoiding confusion and allowing for a more personalized experience.
It should be noted that the new design change has been tested for iOS users. However, it is still under development, so it is not ready to be used by beta users.
Also, a while ago, WhatsApp shared a new feature for Android beta users for deleted messages. Accordingly, after deleting a message, there will be an undo button on the right side of the notification that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Another feature that WhatsApp is testing allows users to view status updates in the chat list. It is possible to view the stories on Instagram by touching that person from the chat list, a similar feature is also coming to WhatsApp.
