Facebook’s new logo
In the statement made by Facebook, the change is mentioned as “a more confident expression of Facebook’s basic blue color.” This is another way of saying that the logo is a darker blue. On the other hand, of course, it makes sense that Meta would only slightly change the Facebook logo rather than completely redesign it. Meta says the platform has a staggering 2 billion daily active users, meaning any visual changes will be seen by a large number of people.
The logo is not the only change Meta has made. Large and small changes were also made to the text format, color palette and animated reactions. However, Meta will not be satisfied with these changes as more changes are planned. Meta describes the updates on its blog as the “first phase of a renewed identity system” for the platform. For this reason, it is pointed out that more design changes will come to Facebook.
