PUBG: Battlegrounds, which took the video game world by storm with its structure and realism when it was first released in 2017, seems to be trying something different now. Because with the 23.2 coded update of the game, PUBG: Battlegrounds has the “returning the dead teammate to life” feature. Look, we’re not talking about your injured teammate. We mean the totally dead.

PUBG: Battlegrounds’ new resurrection mechanic is called “Recall”. According to the statement made by PUBG developers, this feature is designed to eliminate the feeling of frustration during the game. So how will the Recall system work and how will the dead players return to the game?

Players have become robots in the new version: Everyone will have a “blue chip”!

As part of the Recall system, every player was actually robotized. In this context; Players will have their own biometric signature called “Blue Chip”. Let’s say you are in a team game and your teammate is dead. You will need to take the blue chip from his bag and take it to the “Blue Chip Tower”, which is rarely placed on the map. The location of this tower will be determined by chance or through a new equipment called “Blue Chip Transmitter”. When you commit your dead friend’s blue chip to the tower, your teammate will come back to life. Your friend will be dropped back onto the playground by plane.

There is also a handicap here. Let’s say you kill a player from the opposing team during a shootout. If you capture the blue chip of the deceased player, you will prevent them from being respawned. Thus, the blue chip system will actually add a new dimension to the dynamic in the game. As important as killing a player is, getting his blue chip will be just as important. It should be noted that this feature can be used on Erangel, Miramar and Deston maps.
