According to the report published by the famous market and company analyst Trendforce, Xiaomi will be able to surpass its competitors with its growth rate in 2022.
Xiaomi will grow by 15.8 percent in 2022
As you know, the global technology economy, which has been interrupted by the pandemic and quarantine conditions in the past 2 years, has started to return to normal. According to Trendforce; Smartphone companies, which started to increase their market share as of this year, are expected to sell a total of 1.39 billion devices by 2022.
According to Trendforce’s report, the companies that will sell the most smartphones in 2022 will be Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, respectively. Samsung, which will take the first place with 276 million device sales, will be followed by Apple with a total of 243 million devices and Xiaomi with 220 million devices. Oppo and Vivo will share the 4th and 5th places with sales of 208 and 149 million devices.
The famous analyst firm predicts that the new iPhone SE will make a big leap in the first quarter of 2022, and with the iPhone 14 going on sale, Apple will take the second place on the list.
On the other hand, the most striking prediction is about the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi… Accordingly, Xiaomi will sell 15.8 percent more than last year, and its closest competitor, which is expected to grow by 5.4 percent. It will triple Apple in growth rate.
Finally, these are the 5 different smartphone manufacturers we mentioned above; It is expected to account for 80 percent of the smartphone market worldwide. Trendforce; It expects all remaining smartphone manufacturers to sell a total of 294 million devices.
