Now, it is reported that another surprise name will be included in this event. Today, on its official Weibo account, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi K60 Ultra will be introduced on August 14.
When we look at the shared images, we see that the Redmi K60 Ultra retains the design we encounter in the K60 series. In addition, a center-aligned perforated screen is positioned on the front, and a square camera island is positioned on the back. It was previously confirmed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will receive support from the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ platform. The teaser images shared by Xiaomi show that the device will have a screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1220p (1.5K) resolution. This is interesting because both the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro were introduced with a 1440p panel. However, this decision may have been chosen for better performance and battery management.
There will be a variant of the Redmi K60 Ultra with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In the camera department, it will receive support from 50MP primary and two auxiliary sensors.
