Windows 11’s Hydrated Artificial Intelligence Features Are Coming to Windows 10

Microsoft's plans for Windows 10 have changed. The company, which announced in the past that it would not offer new features to this operating system, has now decided to bring the artificial intelligence-supported features of Windows 11 to Windows 10.

US-based technology giant Microsoft retired the world’s most preferred operating system, Windows 10. The company, which stopped selling Windows 10 serial numbers in January, announced in April that Windows 10 22H2 will be the last major feature update for the operating system. However, the latest news reveals that the road map for Windows 10 has changed.

The last major feature update for Windows 10 means that this operating system will not be equipped with new features again. Microsoft will continue to update the operating system only for security vulnerabilities and other minor improvements. However, a new statement made by Aaron Woodman, one of the senior executives, revealed that there will be a big innovation in Windows 10.

Copilot, Windows 11’s artificial intelligence-supported chat bot, is coming to Windows 10!

According to Woodman’s statement, Copilot (formerly known as Bing Chat), the artificial intelligence-supported chat bot that Microsoft announced a few months ago and is also built into Windows 11, will be added to Windows 10 in the very near future. Thus, users who have not upgraded their operating system to Windows 11 will be able to benefit from the artificial intelligence-supported service in Windows 10.

Copilot, which will be added to Windows 10, will be placed in the right corner of the taskbar. By clicking on the icon, the user will start talking to the artificial intelligence-supported bot. However, Aaron Woodman announced that Copilot in Windows 10 will be a little leaner. Not all functionality in Windows 11’s Copilot will be available in Windows 10.

However, it may not work on every computer

Although it is certain that Copilot will be added to Windows 10, this feature may not work on all computers. Because Copilot will have its own system requirements. For example, you can run Windows 10 on a computer with 2 GB of RAM, but Copilot will require at least 4 GB of RAM.

Copilot could be a new beginning for Windows 10

The Verge was able to obtain more information regarding Microsoft’s decision regarding Windows 10. In the interview with Aaron Woodman, it was shared that Microsoft is actually considering more artificial intelligence features for Windows 10, but they are currently in the evaluation phase.
