The iPhones that Apple releases every year are undoubtedly among the most used phones in the world. So, how is the distribution of these devices between the genders? Which gender prefers which iPhone model more?
A new report published by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) provides us with data that will satisfy the curiosity on this subject. The data on the sales made in 2022 reveals in detail which models of the iPhones released in recent years are distributed among men and women.
Men prefer Pro and Pro Max, women prefer standard and Plus models.
The data shared by CIRP shows that while men prefer Pro models more, women prefer standard models. For example, when we look at the iPhone 14 side, we see that 12% of women buy iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus. For men, this rate remained at 8%.
On the other hand, the data shows that 41% of men who bought an iPhone in 2022 bought an iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max or iPhone 14 Pro/Max. For women, this rate is 33% lower when the same phones are considered. On the iPhone SE, on the other hand, the two sides are the same with 7%.
When we look at older iPhones, we see that the difference has decreased. For example, when looking at the standard and mini models of the iPhone 12 and 13, it is seen that 37% of both parties gravitate towards these devices. Which iPhone models do you prefer?
