OnePlus, one of the leading names in the smartphone market, continues its preparations for its flagship smartphone, OnePlus 12. In this context, the features of the device that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform have almost become clear. Finally, the last member of the OnePlus family broke the performance record in AnTuTu.

OnePlus 12 broke a record in AnTuTu

For those who missed it, the recently introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 came on the scene with significant performance gains. At the launch, it was stated that the processor, which will power mainstream Samsung, Vivo and Nubia devices, had an average AnTuTu score of 2.1 million. However, OnePlus managed to surpass this score to a large extent.

According to the leaked images, OnePlus 12 achieved a performance of 2,333,033 points in AnTuTu. This figure is even higher than the reference values specified for Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In addition, the flagship phone scores 533,566 points in the CPU category, 604,961 points in the GPU category, and 538,511 points in the MEM category.

Of course, behind these results are OnePlus’s engineering and thermal management efforts. Nowadays most mainstream phones have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, there is a significant difference in scoring.

OnePlus 12 features and release date

OnePlus 12 will come with a 2K curved OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It has also been confirmed that the phone will have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP periscope lens capable of 3x telephoto zoom. The smartphone is expected to be introduced on December 5.
