It has been announced that the lucky person to go to space with Jeff Bezos, his brother and the third person who bought the empty seat is the former US pilot Wally Funk.
He will be the oldest person to go into space
If the flight on July 20 is successful, 82-year-old Wally Funk will become the oldest person to travel into space. But its qualities are of course not limited to this. Funk is known as the first female investigator to serve on the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Investigative Safety Board. It is also stated that she is the youngest graduate to successfully complete the Women in Space program, which was started in the USA in the 1960s to provide astronaut training to female pilots.
