READING NOW The iPhone 15 hasn’t been released yet: Apple A19 and M5 chips are being talked about!

World-renowned technology manufacturer Apple is preparing for September 2023. The brand, which will add the 15th series this year to the iPhone promotions, which has become a tradition in September of each year, is also working on other highly anticipated products. Apple’s A19 Bionic and M5 chips, which are expected to be included in the iPhone 16 series and the next Mac and MacBook series, are among these works. Here are the details…

The fastest of Apple chips are A19 Bionic and M5!

Together with the iPhone 15 series, we will see the A17 Bionic chipset for the first time. Apple’s new chipset A17 Bionic, with its 3nm chipset, will give the iPhone 15 series the title of the phone in which such a chipset is used for the first time. However, we do not have full control over all the features of the chip at the moment. As all technology enthusiasts, we are waiting for September 12.

However, when the A17 Bionic set was not fully mastered, the A19 Bionic sets were thrown out. A phone collector on Twitter (X) with the username @_orangera1n discovered that Apple is already working on the A19 Bionic SoC. A list of CPU IDs has surfaced, based on evidence shared over X. When we take a look at the list, we see that the 0x8120 code belongs to the A16 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.

Then we realize that the 0x8130 code belongs to the A17 Bionic, which we expect to power the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models. However, in the rest of the list, 0x8140 and 0x8150 codes welcome us, which correspond to A18 Bionic and A19 Bionic chips.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will use the A16 Bionic chips, as we mentioned before, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will use the A17 Bionic set. Well, as an answer to the question of which devices will use the A18 and A19 Bionic chips, we “presumably” expect the A19 series to be used in iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models.

When it comes to M5 chips, there is no definitive evidence. However, considering that Apple has just introduced the M3 chips and the occasional transition chip, the M4, we do not seem to be able to keep the M5 chip concretely for the next few years. However, considering that Apple has started working early, the brand may be considering introducing the M5 chip in the next Mac models.
