Redmi, operating under Xiaomi, held a launch today and introduced its new budget-friendly flagship phones, the K70 series. The new series, which will be the successor to the K60, consists of three phones: K70, K70 Pro and K70E.
Redmi K60 was introduced as the standard model of the series, and K60 Pro was introduced as the top-level model. K70E is an even lower priced phone of the family. All three phones have features that befit the term “flagship killer”, from their processor to their camera. Their prices are also quite good considering these features.
Redmi K70
The standard model Redmi K70 comes with a perforated screen design. The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1440p resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness of the phone, which has an artificial intelligence algorithm that improves the quality of games and applications, is 4000 nits.
Redmi K70 is powered by Qualcomm’s top-end processor from last year, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This chipset is paired with 12 GB and 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM. There are also 256GB and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
When we look at the camera, we see a triple camera setup that takes up a bit of space on the back. There is a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultra wide and 2 MP depth sensor. The 16 MP selfie camera is also placed in the perforated section on the front.
Redmi K70 has a 5000 mAh battery with 120W charging support. The device, which comes in black, white, blue and violet color options, will come out of the box with Android 14-based HyperOS.

Redmi K70 Pro
Redmi K70 Pro comes with a similar design as the standard version. We see the 6.67 inch 120 Hz OLED screen on this phone as well. The biggest difference is on the processor side. The Pro model is powered by Qualcomm’s newly introduced flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. 12/16/24 GB RAM and storage options from 256 GB to 1 TB also come with the K70 Pro. It should be noted that the phone will come in three colors: blue, black and white.
There is a 50 MP main sensor on the back of the Pro model. The main camera is accompanied by a 50 MP telephoto camera that provides 2x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera. So there are important differences here too. At the front, we are greeted by a 16 MP selfie camera. The battery is the same as the standard model, with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W support.

Redmi K70E
K70E, a more affordable model, has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 120 Hz. The resolution drops to 1220×2712. 1800 nits maximum brightness and 480 Hz touch sampling rate are also among the features of the phone.
Redmi K70E, unlike its siblings, does not have a Snapdragon processor. The device has the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip set, which passes through the 4 nm process. This processor is accompanied by 12/16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB.
The part that was most affected by the low price was the camera side. On the back, there is a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor. On the front, we see a 16 MP selfie camera. When we look at the battery, a 5500 mAh battery is placed in the device. This shows that it has more capacity compared to its siblings. However, it is a little behind in terms of fast charging support with 90W.

Xiaomi did not share any information about the global release of the series, which is available for sale in China. However, there is a possibility that they will come under the POCO brand. It is not possible to say which phones may come this way at the moment.
