The GIF embed feature, which was previously enabled for a limited number of users, has started to debut for users all over the world as of today.
How will the feature be used?
According to Meta, the GIFs you can add to the comments will be taken from the Giphy library. The company states that this way, users can interact with posts and reels videos in a more fun way.
Using the GIF embed feature is quite simple. If you have the feature, you will see a GIF sign on the right side of the comment box. Here you will be able to choose the GIF you want and share it as a comment.
Meta also stated that it will bring innovations to the editing features it brought to Reels last month. These include features such as easily splitting a single video into two, speeding up or slowing down clips, and relocating clips without damaging them.
