Tecno brand, which introduces innovative photography technologies at the Future Lens event it organizes every year, is assertive this year too. After technologies such as hawk eye telephoto lens and universal skin tone, this time two different technologies are on the agenda.Liquid lens periscope and variable aperture
The first technology introduced by Tecno is variable aperture. This new technology, defined as a W-shaped adjustable aperture range, is inspired by a cuttlefish. It aims to minimize glare in environments with intense light.
The other technology is the industry’s first liquid telephoto macro lens. Tecno has brought innovation by integrating the liquid lens technology available in the industry into the periscope structure. The company adjusts the lens tilt using voltage and 5cm macro focus is achieved. The company states that they are approaching real macro photography.
Universal skin tone and these two new technologies will be exhibited at CES 2024. It is estimated that the company will include these technologies in the Tecno Phantom X series for now. Later, it may be offered to lower-level models.
