Udemy’s latest topic consumption report shows an increase in cloud computing and blockchain-related skills alongside interest in ChatGPT.
Udemy’s Global Workplace Learning Index for the first quarter of 2023 found that ChatGPT, financial services, and courses aimed at improving students’ job teaching skills saw a huge increase in interest from the site’s 49 million reported users.
According to Udemy, topic consumption for ChatGPT, the number of users who attended courses with a topic-specific skills, increased by 4,419 percent.
Other high-end technology skills that are gaining increasing interest from students include Nutanix, Azure Machine Learning, and Amazon Elastic MapReduce, which are all cloud-related courses with applications in machine learning. As with illustration, the artificial intelligence (AI) art generation has also seen increased interest.
