Shiba Inu’s popular blockchain, Shibarium, processes an average of 7.5 million transactions per day. With the increasing demand in Shibarium, the total number of transactions reached 66 million. Additionally, Shibarium reached 2.02 million blocks.
Interest in Shiba and the project’s acclaimed blockchain saw an impressive 5.1 million daily transactions last weekend.
On the other hand, there was a significant increase in the number of Shibarium wallets. According to Shibariumscan data, more than 1.3 million wallets are currently on the network.
During the week, Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya confirmed the increase in Shibarium transactions, stating that these were not spam transactions but SRC-20 minting activity. Additionally, this intense demand on the Shibarium blockchain has increased BONE usage and SHIB burning.
