Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition and Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition devices in Indonesia. Both devices come with comprehensive parental control tools to limit kids’ viewing time. The devices come with a special case against impacts to make them safe for children. The Samsung Kids software suite comes with block coding game Crocro, cooking app Cooki, singing and dancing app Lisa’s Music Band, and drawing and painting app Bobby’s Canvas.
Parents will be able to set daily screen limits for devices and download additional applications and games specifically for children. These tablets also have the Eye Comfort Shield feature, which prevents the emission of blue light from the screen, which can be harmful to the eyes.Pre-orders are open
While the 8.7-inch Galaxy Tab A9 model offers HD + resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, the 11-inch Galaxy Tab A9 + offers FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The smaller model is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, while the larger model is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. Powered by the Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 operating system, both devices have 4/8GB memory and 64/128GB storage options.
Both devices are available for pre-order in Indonesia. Customers who pre-order between December 12-17 will receive the Puffy case, Crayon pen, special stickers, 20W charger, and a one-year Samsung Care+ plan. The price of the Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition is approximately $210, and the price of the Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition, which supports 5G connection, is approximately $320.
