PEPE Becomes Most Used Token on Uniswap
Based on the “Frog PEPE” meme, the new token remains one of the most researched tokens for users of blockchain analytics firm Nansen and price tracker CoinGecko.
Memcoin PEPE, whose price has risen more than 2100 percent since its launch last month, has become the focus of attention on the decentralized Uniswap exchange. However, the token has become one of the most researched coins on the Nansen data platform.
According to Nansen data, Uniswap’s V2 and V3 liquidity pools for PEPE-WETH were the most active liquidity pool contracts by number of transactions over the past seven days, with more than 82,750 and 72,950 trades, respectively. However, the token has topped the top spot.
These two liquidity pools collected a total of about $900,000 in accrued fees over the same time period.
