In the past months, OnePlus’ application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) was leaked. Famous analyst Mukul Sharma announced the launch date of the company’s first tablet model, the OnePlus Pad.
Companies such as Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei dominate the tablet market as well as the smartphone market. Continuing to work on the tablet model, OnePlus will allegedly introduce its new model soon.
OnePlus Pad will be introduced in the first half of 2022
According to information leaked by Mukul Sharma, OnePlus Pad will be launched in China in 2022. Although the name OnePlus Pad is used in the WIPO application, the name of the new model remains unclear.
The company launched the OnePlus 9 series in March 2021. Some analysts predict that the company will introduce the OnePlus Pad model to users on similar dates.
Unfortunately, no technical details about the tablet are available. No features of the model, which is less than 6 months from the date of its introduction, are known. However, it is estimated that the company will come up with a powerful processor to compete with Samsung and Xiaomi.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor will be used in OnePlus 10 series
It is among the claims that the OnePlus Pad will be introduced at different events with the OnePlus 10 series. It was leaked that the company will use the Snapdragon Gen 1 processor in the OnePlus 10 series.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor has 1 x 3GHz Cortex X2 and 3 x 2.5GHz Cortex A710 cores for high performance. The Cortex A510 core, which is known as the efficiency core and has low power consumption, operates at 1.8GHz.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the first processor produced by Qualcomm with 4nm technology. The processor, which comes out with ARMv9-based cores, is quite assertive in terms of performance.
