NEAR Foundation and Alibaba Cloud will provide remote procedure calls (RPC) service to developers and users as a result of the partnership established.
In an interview with CoinDesk, NEAR Foundation stated that the partnership will facilitate the access of developers in Asia and the Middle East to the ecosystem. In this way, the team aims to attract more developers to the NEAR Protocol. In this way, developers who want to be validators in the NEAR project will be able to use the service and infrastructure of Alibaba Cloud.
Alibaba Cloud, the computing and storage arm of China-based technology giant Alibaba, will contribute to the development of Web3 technology with its support to the NEAR ecosystem.
This partnership announcement was also reflected in the NEAR token price. The popular cryptocurrency has been on the rise in a short time. While NEAR was at $1.35 before the news, it is moving at $1.5 at the time of writing.
