German automotive giant Mercedes, which has made a name for itself with its new electric car, which it introduced recently, has started to recall its vehicles due to an important and risky malfunction. More than 800 thousand vehicles were recalled due to the failure of the pump in the cooling systems.
Sharing the list of recalled models, the company said that drivers should not use their vehicles as much as possible. According to the statements from the company, drivers have to be very careful and comply with the call, since the technical malfunction in question poses a fire risk.
Recalled Mercedes models:
In a statement from Mercedes, it is reported that the water pumps in the SUV GLE, GLS, GLC and G-Class, as well as the C, E and S-class diesel model series, were found to be faulty, produced between January 2017 and October 2021. The owners of these vehicles were asked to go to the nearest Mercedes dealership and have the problem repaired.
According to the statements, about 240 thousand of the more than 800 thousand vehicles called are in Germany. Mercedes also emphasized that there may be disruptions in spare parts processes due to COVID-19, and stated that it expects understanding from its customers in this regard.
