Mercedes-Benz is rolling out ChatGPT and launching a quarterly beta program this week. ChatGPT integration could power the automaker’s “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant. Instead of just answering simple, pre-programmed commands like “Turn on the heater” or “What’s the weather,” he can have natural conversations about almost any topic, including contextual follow-up questions.
Also, Mercedes says it’s “researching” ChatGPT plugins to enable tasks like booking restaurants or booking movie tickets via natural language.
