For Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro, powered by the MediaTek processor, the company promised to receive 4 years of major Android operating system updates and 5 years of Android security updates. Thus, with the Xiaomi 13 series, MediaTek had longer software support for the first time compared to flagship devices powered by Snapdragon in 2023.
