According to Lotus, a Lotus Eletre R charged with a new generation charging station will be able to offer a range of around 140 kilometers with just a 5-minute charge. According to the company, the 350 kW capacity module will offer charging from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.
Lotus’ charging stations are designed to be compatible with different environmental conditions. For example, a user will be able to buy a wall charger for his own home. Cabin type models will be preferred in rest facilities on the highway. Stations in city centers will use ports that can charge four vehicles at the same time.
According to the statements made by Lotus, the new generation charging stations will be used in China in the first phase. The company has even introduced these charging stations in several locations in China. However, the company aims to grow in the coming year. According to plans, Lotus’ new generation charging stations will reach a large part of Europe and even Middle Eastern countries within the next year.
