LOTR Fans’ Annoying Statement by Camila Mendes

It is an undeniable fact that the Lord of the Rings (LOTR) series, inspired by the books written by JRR Tolkien, has written its name in cinema history with golden letters with three films released between 2001 and 2003. The series, which won many awards, has recently come to the fore with the Rings of Power series shot by Amazon. Contrary to expectations, this production, which has a huge budget, did not receive very positive feedback from the audience.

While the comparisons about the series and movies continue, now a famous actor has made a statement that will annoy the fans of the series. Camila Mendes, whom we know from the Riverdale series, compared the original Lord of the Rings series shot by Peter Jackson with a famous Disney series in a video she participated before her new movie.

Mendes thinks High School Musical is better than the original Lord of the Rings trilogy

Mendes was the guest of a YouTube series in which the famous magazine Vanity Fair put celebrities in a polygraph before the comedy film Do Revenge, which was released on Netflix today. Many different questions were asked to Mendes, who appeared in the video with her co-star Maya Hawke. One of them was about the 28-year-old US actress, Disney’s popular teen movie series High School Musical. Mendes previously said that High School Musical is the best movie trilogy ever.

It was at this time that Mendes expressed to himself that in his opinion High School Musical was better than the original Lord of the Rings trilogy. The famous actor stated that this was in terms of ‘entertainment value’, adding that he knew that his opinion was controversial. Mendes also compared High School Musical to other legendary series such as Star Wars and The Godfather. The 28-year-old actress said that contrary to her thoughts on Lord of the Rings, she admits that these two cult series are better than High School Musical.
