Apple introduced the iPhone 14 family, which attracted attention with its features and price last week. The YouTube channel PBKreviews has disassembled the flagship model of the series, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Examining the motherboard and other components, the team evaluated the repairability of the new model.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is about 0.25mm thicker than its predecessor. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is 160.8mm long, 78.1mm wide and 7.65mm thick. The iPhone 14 Pro Max model is 160.7 mm long, 77.6 mm wide and 7.85 mm thick. There is a noticeable size difference in the camera lenses of the models that come with almost the same dimensions.

Apple included the newly developed TrueDepth camera module in the iPhone 14 Pro Max model. The new TrueDepth camera module, which is much smaller than the previous model, is accompanied by a new 48MP wide lens with a much larger sensor.
The model under review does not have a SIM drawer, as it is the version sold in the USA. However, there are minor changes in the designs of the motherboard and other components of the device. The PBKreviews team announced the repairability score of the iPhone 14 Pro Max model as 6.5/10.
iPhone 14 Pro Max is powered by the Apple A16 Bionic processor. The processor has two performance and four efficiency cores. According to Apple’s claim, the A16 Bionic has 40 percent higher performance than its competitors. It is also stated that high-performance cores consume 20 percent less power compared to the A15 Bionic processor.
