Cars equipped with microphones will record what is happening around them when they hear an unusual sound.
Hyundai H-SOS is a technology that places an extra microphone in the vehicle and works on it. If this technology reaches vehicles one day, H-SOS will be activated when the driver shouts or an explosion occurs. The technology, which will automatically detect sound, will activate the vehicle’s 360-degree environmental control camera. In this way, the consumer will record what is happening moment by moment. In addition, H-SOS will inform law enforcement as soon as it hears the sound and will even share the images from the camera with law enforcement.
The features of H-SOS are not limited to this. The vehicle will be able to turn on the headlights or headlights when an unusual situation occurs. It will also be possible to honk the horn. The data provided by H-SOS can also be stored on cloud platforms with 4G and 5G connection support. In this way, any traffic problems will be fully recorded. Of course, we do not know whether this technology will become a reality one day or not.
