Google’s new smartphones, Pixel 6 series, started to reach their owners in the past weeks. Making a new breakthrough with the Tensor processor, Google included high-end features in its new models. However, these developments did not save Google from problems again.
In the past weeks, some Pixel 6 users have been experiencing weird issues with their screens. For example, while some people stated that they had screen flickering and green light problems, some people suffered from dead pixel problems caused by hardware. After all these developments, the response from Google was not delayed.
Google will fix Pixel 6 Pro’s screen problem
With the latest update, Pixel 6 Pro users stated that they have a screen flickering problem when the phone is turned off. This issue, which only appears to certain people, was noticed by the appearance of horizontal stripes of light on the 6.7-inch display.
In response to this situation, Google acknowledged the screen flickering issue on the Pixel 6 Pro in the Help community over the weekend and used the following statements:
Pixel 6 Pro users may experience temporary image degradation when the device is turned off or after light pressure is applied to the power button.
Summarizing the situation as above, Google gave the good news that the Pixel team continues to work and that the solution will be resolved with the update to be released soon. The Pixel team announced that the problem “does not represent an issue with the phone hardware” and will be resolved with the “December patch for Pixel 6 Pro”.
