Entrepreneur and executive Glen de Vries, who was part of the second team to visit space with Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin, was killed in a plane crash in New Jersey. Vries was 49 years old.

“I had that heightened sense of time in my mind during the countdown,” de Vries said after the Blue Origin flight.
