Rock and roll legend Elvis will be honored in the Decentraland metaverse at an event jointly organized by Elvis Presley Enterprises and metaverse design firm Run It Wild.
At the event, Elvis impersonators aim to break a world record. The record will also be confirmed by Guinness.
The current record was set at a North Carolina casino in 2014. 895 Elvis Presley impersonators came together and set such a record. Participants of the Decentraland initiative will receive Elvis overalls and wigs as airdrops.
The event will be just the first step in an “Elvis-On-Chain” presentation hosted by the Party, Elvis Presley Enterprises.
